The Witch in the Lake

  1. There is something very cool and creepy about this. The more I looked at it, I think it's partly the loose sketchiness coupled with the way the paint creates a realistic effect, almost like oils. That would be a very cool way to do a whole book... loose and scratchy with somewhat realistic handling of the paint.

    And of course the whole subject of the drawing, head half out of the water, creepy!
